More Than Wings and Coffee (Santa Clara & Tinamu)
In our “Easy & Comfortable” bird watching and culture tours, there is no demanding physical activity and the hikes will be on flat and open roads. If an interesting bird is found, then we might explore the interior of the forest or attempt to enter a trail for a very short distance. The day starts with breakfast usually at 6:30 am leaving to field around 7:00 am. On days when we are not driving, we will offer breakfast at noon and a birding resume for a few hours in the afternoon. Every hotel gives you the choice to join the birding group or to stay in the facilities enjoying the birds around as well as other attractions like pools, gardens, and trails among others. The tour is designed for beginners to intermediate bird watchers and those desiring some amble experience in a magical place. Here, birding is at the leisure of the client´s wishes and pace.
This itinerary is perfect to enjoy the Colombian mountains, their multivariate ecosystems, the wonderful weather, and easy-to-see birds. You will stay in two of the most beautiful hotels in the coffee region, near wonderful places for bird watching and feeders where you will have the opportunity to take pictures or simply enjoy the birds, a good coffee, a good beer, or a few glasses of wine.
