Mix Endemic Birding Journey
This is one of the most complete birdwatching adventures in Colombia, where we focus on being able to see the vast majority of endemics in the interior and north of Colombia. This trip is for the most intrepid and for whom a large list of important species is the priority. Although it is a long journey, we have tried to make it as easy as possible and we have organized everything in such a way that we can meet the objective of this trip more than 100 endemic and near-endemic species in the country and a total of more than 600 species of birds . We have decided to call Mix Birding Journey, because on this trip we will be visiting the most important and richest Andean ecosystems in Colombia, which includes the inter-Andean valleys of the Rio Magdalena and the Rio cauca, the Choco Biogeographic and the Atlantic Coast, with two of the most important and isolated mountainous areas, La Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta & La Serranía del Perija. After this trip, sweeping Colombia’s missing endemic species will be easier and we will have you put Colombia on your radar for next trips.

Dress Code
This is a fairly standard birding tour with early morning starts and evening finishes to each day. One some days we may take picnic lunches in order to no waste time during the middle of the day or having to leave site. The weather can be unpredictable with rain and sunshine both likely. At higher altitudes it can be chilly. We have an amazing photo opportunity for many species of hummingbirds and other species coming to feeders, we will also be looking for a good number of species that are very rare and seldom seen, but we will be going to areas that hold these sought-after species.
